What I'm up to ...

I'm so sorry I haven't put something up for so long I was having so much fun with uni (_{i.e. so much work with uni} )

Here's what I've been doing for an actual Intro Studies: Painting project. The charcoal sketch (this one) has been looked at and marked by the teacher/tutor/instructor, so I think it's okay to put up now.

I only have one opinion of this and that is that charcoal is a mess to work with when you've spent years sticking to the fine lines of a pen or pencil o_o

I don't know whose brilliant idea it was but, yes, we are doing a still life of teddy bears.

I think I'm really lucky (the luckiest in the class, in fact), because I arrived late on the first class but got the best seat, with the light coming in from behind me (instead of from behind the prop, like it is for some others, who see a sillhouette for most of the classtime) and with the bigger, more colourful bear at my end, but not front on ^_^

We're painting in acrylics, I paint slow, so I'm uploading this and one day we might see my painting up here too
