My Ampharos

It's my Ampharos sculpture!!! It took TWO YEARS to put it up?? Yeah... just, don't ask. Something like, right after I finished it I realised you couldn't just take a picture of a sculpture; you had to factor in the angle and where light was coming from, how strong it was etc etc and it took two years work figure out that it doesn't frickin' matter if it's gonna take my whole life to think about!!


So... my Ampharos sculpture I started to like Ampharos after getting one in my party in Pokemon HG, but none of the official figurines did it justice. And then I saw all these awesome Ampharos sculptures on dA by various people, and thought, I gotta have one of those!! And now I do


I really like how it turned out. It's probably one of the sculptures I have the least gripes about Though its neck could have been slightly longer xD _{Gotta have at least one gripe}


Amphy is about 7cm (3in) long and 5cm (2in) tall (ie. the tail), made of Super Sculpey: Living Doll with foil and wire armature, painted in acrylics and finished with a thin coat of gloss lacquer for polymer clay.


P.S. Sorry if the image colours look a bit icky; my monitor seems to show things a bit on the red side, so I may have reduced the red a bit far in Photoshop.
