Creature

EDIT: It's in ballpoint pen, by the way. On an A6 piece of paper, which is why blown-up it looks like pencil (which is a medium I'm just not going to get good at...)


I don't want to become one of those people who draw nothing but fantasy creatures, most of which have wings and breathe fire or something and are supposed to be the ultimate form of elegance/power/beauty, since the artist can draw what they please -wings, horns, talons, scales, barbed tails- where they please, to make it the most aesthetically pleasing and are not hindered by any obstacle, as they would be if it were an existing creature that they were drawing who already had a realistic anatomy of its own that would have to be followed.

In other words, what I'm saying is that, compared to drawing, for example, a turtle, to draw a totally imagined creature and have it look good is relatively simple.

This started off as a doodle (the beak) in a very boring maths class, and I decided to finish it properly. I dunno how many of my watchers would like this sort of thing, but there you go
